- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -1/+13interesting. wood into paper; & compress paper to replace wooden furtniture. Is that recycling or a waste of energy?
- thegsa, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3coming from a person in the furniture business, it is a waste of energy because that type of furniture usually doesn't last very long (walmart quality furnture). the good resin is too expensive to use in a massive scale so the big companies don't even bother.
- ElAssoWipo, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1I'm more concerned about the fire hazard than anything. I don't know how it's made exactly but my first impression is that this would become a huge ball of fire in about 30 seconds after being ignited.
- Cancerkitty, on 05/10/2008, -0/+7I like it; it looks like Flintstones' furniture.
- louiebaur, on 05/10/2008, -1/+3cool furniture I could use one of those
- roosterjack, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3What a cool way to help greening our environment. Cool furniture too.
- rossiprojects, on 05/10/2008, -2/+4boring
- theliamburns1, on 05/10/2008, -2/+1Cool concept but not impressed. Seen much cleaner and modern designs of eco-friendly furniture at http://www.my-homefurniture.com
They have some of the sickest furniture ive ever seen. - gensy, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0I doubt this furniture is practical.
- koft, on 05/10/2008, -1/+3Looks like somebody accidentally submitted to digg instead of BoingBoing.
- COlson87, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3And if you spill anything thick on (in?) it like spaghetti sauce, yogurt, or cheese.. good luck!

- chidade, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2I wonder if the resin used id environmentally friendly? Still, I like the look of it.
- Startemus, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3Imagine how it would look if made from deleted emails.
- adiyo011, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0Let's just hope that companies who do pick up this idea will provide incentives for people to donate their paper if the process is environmentally friendly.
- SumBodyUNotKnow, on 05/10/2008, -2/+0Cool, but how do they mold the paper? Better not spill water or else it will melt.
"No! My $1 million paper house has been destroyed by the rain. Now I know what they meant that water is a powerful force. BUT WHY DIDN'T I GET INSURENCE!", said the "rich" stupid people. - DamnMan, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1green? lets take paper that will biodegrade, coat it with hard resin so it will last a couple of hundred years at least. sounds like a plan to me.
- kgirl77, on 05/12/2008, -0/+0very cool!
