Most people don't realize how many players there are on the streets that get payed nothing, but are more athletic than a ton of NBA players. In other words, Jordan, since he was standing behind the foul line, was not supposed to cross the line until the ball hit the RIM, not after the ball was shot.

      Just another rule that Jordan was allowed to break repeatedly. (like pushing off his his left hand on every drive. Or taking an extra step and a half on every dunk/layup.)

(they lower their rims ever so slightly to encourage more outrageous dunks, a 720 on a 10 foot rim would be *a lot* harder).

    also... since when has kobe been "the best" dunker. jesus. the guy is past his prime. has had several knee surgeries. he's not the same player anymore. he can still jump, but he picks and chooses when to dunk. these and1 guys are in their young 20s and lack the wear and tear on their knees.

        i'm not hating on kobe, but yes, kobe is past his prime. just like t-mac, kevin garnett, steve nash, and many others. i dont see kobe scoring any more 81 point games. but hey digg me down if it hurts your self-esteem.

          and two years ago IS A LONG TIME. THAT was his prime. kobe enttered the NBA as young player and has led the league in minutes played per game. his body has worn down.
          okay, that's not enough? read phil jacksons book where he talks about kobe's defense decline. or just watch him. he is not as good as he was 3 years ago. how can you say kobe is still in his prime when his numbers are down everywhere from the last few seasons. and his numbers were down before pau was traded. he is a smarter player. can you just not accept that people get older and that tons of surgeries on yourknee take a tolll? im done arguing. your 40 years old and sound like a 16 year old fanboy man. why i wasted my time talking to you i have no idea.

I've only heard about one major surgery which was in 2006 off-season when he couldn't participate in the 2006 FIBA World Championship.

The Lakers have added more talent and the role players have improved so Kobe doesn't have to take over entire games just so the team has a chance to win.
